Lisa Sommerlad is a Naarm /Melbourne based artist, dancer, yogi & mother.

Her vivid and bold paintings express & explore the relationality of the individual in deep connectedness with a living universe & sacred web of life.

Her creative work is informed by the Shaiva Shakta Tantra traditions of which she is a student & practitioner, aligned with an innate mystic, visionary, intuitive desire to authentically express the extraordinary cosmic consciousness interplay of that which is felt, imagined and dreamed as art.

For Lisa, painting is a devotional communion in guided receptivity, in which the meditation & manifestation of breath~heart~hand is nurturing of psychic wholeness and the mysterious, myriad revelations of embodiment.
